For peak confusion on iOS, it displays the smart character always in the actual keyboard UI regardless of the setting but will output differently in the text field.

I'm curious if it's the "smart" vs plain apostrophe situation. Long pressing the apostrophe on iOS will give you the alternative for your current keyboard configuration. And there is a setting in General -> Keyboards called smart punctuation that changes the default iOS types from ' to ’.

When you walk around the horse stay in physical contact (just touch it with your hand) so you do not surprise it at any time. You don't want to startle a horse when it can't see you 😅
