Making it so US centric is obnoxious. Why not have a rolling open? 🙄

I graduated 30 years ago with a degree in art history & a focus on Italian Renaissance architecture. That stuff works its way into your dreams. My brain was still thinking about what I was studying, along with the muffin I wanted to get before class. Thus, dreams of Brunelleschi’s blueberry muffin 😂

I don’t even use food words with her. If I’m in the kitchen or just get up, she’s up and leading the way. She knows “sit”, which I really only use to get her leashed up to go out, but she’s usually too busy losing her damn mind with excitement to stay sitting. Every. Time. 🤦🏼‍♀️

That’s crazy. Even we’re only getting up to 13 a couple of days early next week, from 9 today (but it’s a cold 9 🥶🥶).

It was a recommended read to incoming freshmen when I started at Tulane University in 1990. It was disturbing then, but I never imagined things would get to this point.

Or the methed-out white guys are going to be stealing materials to sell off, like people going through stripping out copper.

I indirectly work in the US new home construction industry through marketing. I’m in Italy but my clients are in the US. Even I could see this coming if the felon got elected, and I think some saw the reality right after the election. I’m worried about my own job, and the greater economic impact.

We are at the stage of oligarchy in this country where we’ve been bought by private equity and they’re currently transferring all the assets to their own pockets and leaving us with the debts.

I only have one small set of drawers mostly for stuff like that and some sweaters, but this time of year it gets a bit muddled.

This is more my news/politics place, more out of default from following those accounts over here from Twitter. A few friends are joining, but it’s not a particularly interactive place for me yet.

I think I’ve just been hanging everything up to try to get it to dry, but then leave it on the hanger instead of folding stuff. My dresser drawers are a bit empty, not just from letting washing pile up. Which reminds me…

I go through this too. How? If anything you’d think I’d have a surplus.

More reasons I don’t want to move back to the US. My anxiety and depression are still an issue, though better with meds. If I had to go back to life without, I wouldn’t be able to go on for long, especially living in the US again, particularly now.

Nice to see you over here, too. 😂

I lived there but wasn’t a student. However I did learn a lot on my own about the rich history of the city. I also enjoyed photographing it. I had a blog of my experiences and the history, which was mildly popular. I met wonderful people through it. oranjeflamingo.worpress.com

I see one who keeps arguing that it wasn’t the right place to do it. 🙄They will find any excuse. 🤦🏼‍♀️
