see these lads around quite often and I don't even think this is all of them!

ah I hadn't thought about that β€” the panopto captures at my place include the uni logo on the lectern in the big lecture halls

what are the advantages, do you think? I've never done it but have seen some colleagues do it

I think my next strategy is looking at a slightly higher price range because we could have paid more for the flat I saw earlier this week but I felt like it was ethically dodgy because it would be contributing even further to the increase of housing prices

a lot of the places that have been sitting for a long time don't match what we (mostly I) want for location, sunlight, view, etc but I did also go to see a place last night that needed a bit of work but we concluded that we can't take that on right now

quality of the housing is way better in norway and getting the survey done before the viewings and offers is sensible (don't do it this way in the UK), but the bidding process inflates prices massively

we've come from the north of england where it's not as ridiculous in the south of england but it is wild here in norway

very tense with multiple tight deadlines to respond β€” an ebay auction but your spending millions of kr and also getting phonecalls from the estate agent at the same time

saw a place on monday night where the queue was right out the door, entered the bidding war on tuesday and it ended up going for 15% above asking price after I'd been attached to my phone for four hours 😩

(finally had an MA class today where I managed to turn the lights on and there wasn't a big machine loudly sucking goop off the roof immediately outside the seminar room)

you are intimidating inasmuch as I'm confident you could destroy someone intellectually and then make them a pretty solid coffin before serving the whisky sours at the grave-pissing party
