My point, is just because you don't see people like me, you don't notice us, we aren't loud and obvious, we are still here. There are more of us than you think. And I'll be damned if I sit idle given my privilege and ability. My rage and disgust just might eclipse yours. You won't know.

People are exhausting to me, and most times it's not worthwhile to me. I'm okay with all of this.. I have a family, I have kids, I have a dog. That's my focus in life. I am however polite, and kind ... And I have a deep rooted desire for fairness and justice. Weird conflicting combo honestly

I'm not your ally simply because we are both white. Or women. Or older. In fact let's be honest, I hate most people to some degree or at least interacting with almost all people. I'm quiet. I'm a homebody. I don't socialize if I don't have to.

I am a middle aged white woman who is either running around in yoga pants or dressed like a librarian. I'm unassuming. To the point where I've had multiple instances where absolutely out of pocket things have been said by people assuming the company was not mixed.

This is going to allow me to physically be ready for whatever comes. I'm stronger than I look. I'm a sleeper in this way. You would never look at me and think I'm a threat to anything or anyone.

I say all of this for a few reasons. One, I'm so glad I started when I did so I'd be in the state I am physically and mentally for this administration and these times. I'm in a decent spot finally.

I incline walk 5 days a week at level 15 for 35 minutes for my cardio at 3.3-3.8mph. I work pretty hard honestly and it's only recently I've really started to feel strong.

I wholeheartedly hope you're joking on that interest rate...

I'm really not religious at all, I guess you could say it's religious trauma (dad was a Deacon) but that being said, she is so gentle and purposeful when she speaks, I'd listen with more than just politeness..

Stare at yourself and sing along to your music. Avoid eye contact, hop back into set a little sooner than you're used to. That's what I do at least....

On the spectrum and I've done a lot of awkward things in my lifetime but I've never inadvertently tossed out a na+I salute.

I'm really enjoying this space tbh.

Ah thank You for the clarification. It's hard to tell sometimes what someone's intent is through text. I was unaware! I mean I am about the other two....

Is that you lamenting that trader Joe's is not in line with your moral compass or is that some slick attempt at an insult suggesting I shop there? Clarification is needed, thanks!

I think you're missing the point, meta doesn't get anything from you. If you do not interact with any of their apps. They don't make ad revenue and they can't collect your data. I can't tell if you're purposefully missing the point, but, good luck! ❤️

Also, you have to think that a lot of people are moving differently now online. So what I might have been searching a month ago is not going to probably be the only thing I'm doing now. They won't have access to that.

It's more or less to disrupt the ad revenue that they get. Every time you scroll, every time you click on an ad, just having an account. There is probably making somebody money.

From there, I think we should be spending our money wisely, in places that support or do not directly go against your personal ideology or moral compass.

I think cutting off the supply of our data to a lot of apps that we cannot trust is a start. I think curating an online presence or an online collection of people we trust on apps that are trustworthy is worthwhile.

I have a lot of friends who have legally immigrated here within the last decade and, they are worried. It's awful..

It was the cheering .... That GOT LOUDER.. which was almost a tad smidge more disturbing for me quite frankly. He was in a room with 'not' mixed company.

Sometimes, if I hear about a car crash in a town I knew someone in, with the right gender but wrong age, I get a little disappointed tbh.

I would be a character witness for her if she would be ever so kind.....

I never got into Twitter, even before it turned into the cesspool that it currently is. Is. It just was not my jam. But bluesky? I actually really enjoy it here.

Isn't that the truth, and it's rude, no foreplay, no lube.

And the cheering... That got louder when he did this...

I do a lot of California rolling through stop signs. I mean I feel like I do it safely, it's not like anyone is there or coming but I definitely don't come to a full stop. 🤣. I need more ideas.

I am supposed to wear safety shoes at my job. I never do. Why? I work in a department where everything is extremely light and I'm probably not going to hurt myself and they're very uncomfortable. I also have been using headphones at my job for 4 years. They were just approved this year. 😅
