We are already in a Constitutional crisis. Power has been seized. The courts will bend to those in control. Local organized resistance is the action we need to take, if you are opposed to the end of democracy.

I'm a tax practioner and we're kind of thinking that if you are due a refund, file asap to get it back before the system gets messed with, refunds get "lost" etc.

I thought he was going to hire people based on "merit", not just mass firings at will. A lot of the "probationary" employees (new hires that are in the probationary period, not employees that did something bad) have worked as contractors for the federal government for years or even decades.No notice

forensic auditing takes months or years, they can't find "fraud" that fast, it's not that simple - hundreds of thousands of transactions... ridiculous to be making that statement 3 weeks into this presidency.

You can't find fraud that quickly. I've worked in forensic accounting / fraud examination and it's a lengthy process; it would probably take years to do a complete audit of USAID at that scale.
