Neither have we. We mashed both systems together. I have never heard a person tell me their height/weight in metric. Same with short distances. While officially we are metric, so is most of the US government.

Advanced dementia will do that to a person. Yet, the media sane-washes it away and never mentions it.

Disabled people fought and died to win these rights. They are not privileges, nor layers of privilege. The fact that white people can navigate these systems much easier and safer is the privilege part. That privilege must end.

Well, if you need the cane, even for a bit, it is ok to use the services offered. I do not get better treatment, just shorter lines. Each trip involves extremely aggressive pat-downs at every stop along the journey. Early boarding is required as it takes more time to move someone less ambulatory.

Now I'm confused. Are you also saying that you pretend to be disabled while in the airport as well?

It is obscene and says a lot about you and other Americans who partake in this shameful tactic. You are all patriotic to the extreme, but only when in your own country. The moment you all leave you pull this crap and wonder why everyone hates you. 🤷♀️

Either wear your own country's flag with pride or work to change your country so it isn't necessary to appropriate others who do. We worked hard to make that symbol mean something. You have no right to piggyback on our achievements and hard-earned reputation.

What wasn't funny was that you were joking about stealing the identity of another country, so you are treated better by other people while traveling abroad. It's sad that Americans feel that they own everything and that this is acceptable.

This isn't funny. Please stop doing this. Assholes from your country have been doing this for decades and tarnishing us worldwide.

While I agree with this in general, I use a zero-tolerance policy. Tools are available to search your follower's posts in bulk and should be utilized weekly. I understand the urge to follow back and forget, but as you mentioned, these people don't start with the hate.

Thanks for the heads-up and opportunity to unfollow a whopping 61 people I was following who didn't bother to vet this account at all before following back.

It is far from certain we could run a successful insurgency long term. We don't have the ammunition, or explosives required. We have no way to re-supply those things once invaded. Every insurgency against the USA succeeds due to outside arms shipments. I want to believe. The logistics are not great.

My American friends (reds & blues) are claiming that fascism won't happen because they all have guns. This was a conversation from yesterday. They are not prepared. They have all bought into the propaganda that their guns will protect them. Every American I've met in my life has held the same view.

Americans have no idea how to deal with fascism. They do not care if you boo and jeer them. Those little signs are not going to stop them. It will take much stronger action than this. This is not the way.

That is the only other thing I could think of that a nuclear sub would need the fuel for. The quantities needed though would pale in comparison to a conventionally fuelled submarine. It just seems weird to single out submarines in the headline.
comment in response to

Yes, this is a strange headline in that regard. The only way this headline makes sense is if it includes the tenders and other support craft that the subs require.

Sadly, it's looking a lot more depressing than originally printed. They were in different rooms. He was in the mudroom. She was in the bathroom with pills scattered about. There was no issue with the gas supply and they had been there a while.

"As for the program itself, the producers and I believe it was an entirely worthwhile exercise." Traitors. Defund the CBC. The continuous failures of our national broadcaster to defend Canada are indefensible. Nothing of value was gained from this fiasco. You should be ashamed, yet you triple down.

That article was straight-up whack. The paradox of tolerance strikes again. Protest away folks. Fuck these assholes. They are the company they keep. If you have 50 nazis and 1 non-nazi club owner, you have 51 nazis.

This is laughable and moronic. If this is what we are expecting to see from now on, this game is not worth my time or money. There is no universe where I would want to do 1 Wolf 359, let alone 2. I guess this is one way to end the zen shortage in the dil exchange. Make us all quit. Good work DECA!

A well monitored heating pad under a blanket is also a joy for them to discover. My 5 year old just discovered the heat register and heated blankets this year. He's hooked.

Reagan was also instrumental in dismantling the shared reality that people used to have. The repeal of the Fairness Doctrine is a big part of the decline. The corporatization of news and the removal of the 'Church and State' separation of the news editors from their owners is a huge part of it.

I agree. But, I think the starting point was the invasion/occupation of Iraq. The launching of an illegal war of aggression was the end of any moral argument that the USA was a force for good. It also gave Putin all the justification needed to invade Ukraine. Pre-emptive self defense.

Omg she looks so comfy. I'm afraid you are stuck there forever. I get into trouble from my partner for refusing to move if there is a kitty on my lap. I ended up with a UTI because of it.

10. every day. I hate the 1-10 scale. My 10 is not anyone else's 10. For me, a broken wrist ranks at about a 2. I prefer the McGill Pain Score. It is a scale of 1-50, based on numerous questions. CRPS ranks around 42 out of 50, a few points above giving birth completely unprepared.

Glad to hear about the progress. But also know the toll it can take. Keep up the PT. It can help but it is also so damn painful. Sending good vibes.
