Let’s just say for the sake of argument he’s going to Detroit, what would you give up for him?
comment in response to post
Oh, yeah that’s been a thing. No one knows where to though

I hear this but Michael Misa is your another cuylle

My thought was key, Perrault and a mid round pick

But I think you could get it done with less pieces.

Yes 🙌
comment in response to post
Oh yes. 1000% yes. You don’t know the depths to which I’d sink to get Michael Misa on this team

I know this is late but please talk about this on the podcast

It’s giving “you fools, that million dollar offer was just a ruse to get my true prize, this smashed amusement park penny!”

Is it really using us if they get to get an underwhelming return when we likely would have thrown the farm at them for him?

TALK THAT TALK DENIS
comment in response to post
I still feel like Buffalo are the losers here because what is that return?
comment in response to post
I don’t really have a Rangers comp for it but a middle six forward and third pair dman??? Man…they’d really rather sell low as hell than trade with us
comment in response to post
I’m not gonna give him any credit other than to say he was not as bad as Trump

Would you go Perrault, emery, key?
comment in response to post
Literally : Kasperi Kappanen, Sam poulin, Owen Pickering, Braden Yeager (now McGroarty)

At some point that luck has to run out and looking at pittsburghs recent first rounders, I think unless they get gifted a first overall (again x3) they’re hopeless when it comes to evaluating first round talent

I posted this deleted it fixed spelling errors posted it again and still didn’t catch “his” instead of “as” My day is ruined

I share that with you, but his little faith as I have in the Org, I still have even less faith in Pittsburgh’s, I could totally see them botching two pics in a row with Kyle Doofus at the helm.

That’s been refuted by a couple people, it does look stronger in defense, and Gavin McKenna is obviously a true #1, but there’s no real way of knowing because anything could happen next year. ATP just take comfort in knowing we don’t have all the answers and that everything’s up in the air.

I have to imagine they have two or three targets that they’d consider making serious offers to and if not, or deep into talks with other teams about their first round picks, or just fell out of love with whoever they felt would be available

I can’t imagine Sullivan would’ve signed on after being frustrated that Pittsburgh was going in a rebuild if Drury was just gonna do the same thing.
comment in response to post
Then this is a colossal failure, and the hot seat burns right through Drury’s slacks. But, if I wanna be optimistic, I have to imagine that every avenue was considered, and there are parts of this plan that we’re just not privy to as members of the public yet.

I have a feeling that this is in preparation for an offer sheet, not punting for next season
comment in response to post
This feels more like they’re getting ready for an offer sheet, rather than punting next year

Thank you

What tiny shoes to fill

I was really hoping for a little bit more, but it was interesting to see and hear from the former Rangers. And that one Ranger who said “productive? No one is happy here” makes me very curious

Tampa and Florida fans btw are some of the most hardcore hockey fans I know (living in Tampa) it’s not the bandwagonning yall make it out to be and honestly you come off like dicks when you say that. Hockey is as big if not bigger than football here.
comment in response to post
We get mad at Florida for having an “unfair advantage” for being a no tax state, but get awfully quiet about the luxuries afforded to players by living in NYC, Chicago, LA, and other cool cities. You think Panarin chose the rangers over Long Island because they made him a better offer? Please.

Oh we not done yet. Mika was a PPG winger the second half of the season and yall want to ship him off for literal BEANS?! Is it Meth? Is it Meth that you’re smoking?
