Light progress for #screenshotsaturday. Got scoring and a time limit in, but mostly some backend work on the pickup/drop-off system, managing locations, messages, etc. without being able to just pull from a database. Gotten real familiar with GBVM, though.

Do you really have to fold out the transform tab for every single object in Godot? Is there a way to mass apply a value to selected objects? It seems to average out the value when selecting multiple objects.

Sunny but fresh airfield ride today. I usually don’t ride there, as the loop is pretty boring. But, the girlfriend did her running there today so I tagged along for some sprints on the landing strip. Also, there was an intense cricked match going on, judging by how excited the guys were.

Took me embarrasingly long to find a bug in my rail system that prevented the player from going in either direction 🤦‍♂️ Rail tricks still don’t show up in the trick log sometimes, but that‘s for another day.

a trick to improve readability of 3D worlds: add a post process based on depth to differentiate background planes with a gradient you can easily read foreground (no tint), midground (white tint) and background (darkblue tint)

Taking the new animations for a spin. It is just a pose system. But, the important part is, that it mirrors all poses (which was a problem in the animator) and I can keep variations in one place and don’t have to stay on top of NLA strips. Bit overkill, but it was fun to make.
