23 years ago when I went to see this play I didn’t even know who he was and I went along chiefly to see Oscar winner Anna Paquin. He stole the show and I certainly knew who he was then and forever after.

Eloise peaked at number 2 in the U.K. Record Retailer chart which is considered the official one. It did reach number 1 in the NME and Melody Maker charts so must have been close. Same story as Please Please Me a few years earlier.
