A death certificate is a record of the death, but it is usually issued long after physical and legal death occurs. There is even a Uniform Determination of Death Act. She is dead. The only state interest now is that her remains are disposed of in a safe manner. She's not their free incubator.

No. Trump's goons have never cared about people who helped us. They complain about equipment that would cost more to move than to replace, never about people.

How can they be so ignorant as to proclaim that a SUBURBAN only has 2 rows of seats? The 3rd row of seating has been a defining feature of that model for 90 years.

The US's entire immigration policy can be summed up as: You Don't Have to Go Home But You Can't Stay Here.
Unless you're white and from South Africa.

Isn't physical presence in the US a requirement for asking for asylum? The non-present analogue is refugee status, which was shut down via EO (unless you're an Afrikaner, apparently). So what is the government claiming they can do here?

My gut says no. They will comb through Medicaid/Medicare billings records and flag dx or treatment often associated with ASD.

Appellants: "The government is patently untrustworthy, and in fact is preparing to do what it said it wouldn't. "
5th Circuit: "Is it though? We can't tell until the planes land. Call back then."

Probably because there are circumstances in which a TRO can be appealed in the 9th (e.g. WA v Trump, 847 F.3d 1151, so the briefing is to give the DOJ one last shot to explain how the TRO is really like a PI.

That would make Putin very happy, to reduce the missile warning systems located there. Which maybe explains why Daddy Putin told Trump to antagonize the Danes.

This is an absolute disaster. For the present case, yes, but also because it paves the way for major changes to the Federal Reserve.

Flashback to yesterday's article when Goldberg said that Signal has been used to coordinate meetings when other methods weren't available. That doesn't mean they used it for substantive discussion or updates. It appears this administration uses it on the regular for everything.

The correct response is, and always has been, "The FBI does not comment on or confirm the existence of pending investigations." If Patel knew his head from a hole in the ground, that would have been the instant response.

This is the episode where O'Brien's daughter almost gets traded to an evil leprechaun. This is the episode where O'Brien's daughter is lost in time, then found again (but not really) then abandoned, only to remove herself from the timeline (from her perspective).

Do you remember when Trump declared that he authorized Elon to go up and get them, and asked if he should go on the journey?" (It was like 2 hours ago).
Oh, the things that might have been.
