If you don't like d20, roll under, for Mark of the Odd games, simply use a DC of 21 and add your stat. It should math out the same! Dex: 12 12 or under = 60% 9 or higher = 60% 12 + 9 = 21 Dex: 7 7 or under = 35% 14 or higher = 35% 7 + 14 = 21 (I just took the same concept from the Spellzard rpg!)

Cortex Prime is a toolkit for making tabletop RPGs. There’s some assembly required but it literally is a huge box of LEGO that you can mix and match to create pretty much any TTRPG you want. It isn’t a pick up and play book but I believe there’s always going to be an audience for this thing.

I've been on a Troika! binge lately and I really like the rules presented in Spellzard (rob-jr.itch.io). It really simplifies combat in a way I really like. The combat+luck mechanic is also REALLY good for solo. I can't give up Troika!'s skill system tho, but it's very easy to smoosh them together.
