for me it's just a case of: nicer people are here, and it's way easier to curate what I see to filter out anything I don't want
in the last couple of years of Twitter I had hundreds of muted terms and the unhidable trending stuff STILL showed me endless discourse.

i know! It just feels like a film i'd definitely remember. I watched quite a lot of films that didn't do well in cinemas around the time. it even had a video game adaptation for ps3/xbox that I also have zero recollection of, at a time when i first had disposable income and was buying EVERYTHING
