I just watched Rebel Ridge and the fact that the country didn't explode in protest when civil forfeiture was declared constitutional is insane. It goes against the plain language of the fifth amendment and no one even knows what it is.

While I appreciate the optimism of playing Daccord first then Grubauer, the Kraken were likely to lose yesterday anyhow and if you have Daccord in net tonight...they probably win.

renewable energy isn't just cheap...over time it's a net gain, and massively so, not even counting the savings from preventing climate catastrophe. a first-year business school student can understand that when you eliminate the need for a whole supply chain (eg for fuel) costs go down.

New report: "Monopoly electric & gas utilities across the country routinely seek to charge their customers for lobbying, corporate brand advertising, perks for executives & employees, & engagement with Wall Street – expenses that do not benefit customers, and often work against their interests."

The M's being in on Sasaki suggests to me that: 1. They are willing to deal from the starting rotation 2. They will not do so until their bid for Sasaki is accepted 3. They will not sign a pricey FA until they learn whether they can deal from rotation & what the return will be

🚨NEW REPORT: Health insurers raked in $371 BILLION in profits since passage of the ACA, while raising family premiums to $26K a year. More than 40% of the profit went to UnitedHealth, whose profits rose 400% as the company denies nearly 1 in 3 claims. Pass it on: www.levernews.com/health-insur...
