At an Event. #switch2

Called and ended up sputtering about these, and everything I'm SO mad about and also, Chuck, I haven't forgotten the CR and-- (cleansing breath) Anyway I made some nice mugs at the pottery studio recently, so that's neat.

One second of Silksong flashed on screen labeled "2025" this is not a drill!!!!!

This pointless stunt by Cory Booker is accomplishing nothing but drawing attention to the Trump administration’s wrongdoing and delaying the work of the Senate and energizing the Democratic base and, wait, hang on, let me come in again

Hi folks: Facebook appears to be taking down my posts. Please remember they are available for free here (no paywall), and can be received by email (also free-- just don't put in your credit card information). I guess if I'm being banned I'm doing something right?

Having April Fool’s directly after the trans day of visibility feels like an apt metaphor for the rug pulling of so many so-called allies the moment it’s politically convenient.

Working Families Party has endorsed four candidates for the mayoral slate: gothamist.com/news/working...

Someone is WRONG on the INTERNET. (About a completely pointless, minor thing that will have zero impact on anyone's lives so it's honestly almost refreshing.)

Oh hey I finally read this last month and it is in fact as good as everyone says!!

Hahahahaha But for real though. Don’t.

Wellp that was a nice five minutes of doom scrolling and anxiety, I think now I'll go back to pottery youtube and pretending most of the world's goings-on don't exist.

Her: “I like my books spicy. Lots of cumin.” Me: “…come again?” Her: “If there’s thyme, sure, but let’s not get caraway.”

I made my own calls just now - I got actual humans at both offices; my state senator's staffer says she's been getting a lot of calls today (GOOD!!). Let's keep it up!! #NoNYMaskBan

I called my lawmakers this morning. Senator's staffer took the message and signed off. Assembly Member's staffer told me that it wasn't *really* a ban. When I explained that I didn't want to disclose my medical needs to a security guard or cop, she said that wasn't the intent. Keep on pushing.

Hey New Yorkers, today is actually a #NoNYMaskBan day of action. PLEASE PLEASE call your STATE reps -- senate and assembly -- and tell them to push back on this idiocy. Here's info & scripts: www.jewsformaskrights.com/resources/ma... Here's where to look up your reps: www.usa.gov/elected-offi...

TOMORROW! Join us on Wednesday, 3/26, in flooding the phone lines against mask bans in NY! Phone banks hosted by @nyclu.org , @bendthearc.bsky.social, and more at the link. bit.ly/3-26-action #NoNYMaskBan

A thing I didn't grok when I was younger: You can just... do stuff. Anyone can write a book-- just open a document or buy a composition book and go. If you want to try an art form, you can take a class, watch a YouTube video, or borrow the tools from the library. You don't need permission to play.

California friends, please take action. You know how a lot of things feel hopeless right now? This isn't federal and it isn't Trump -- it's local for you and a way to change your state for the better.

I ordered dinner and the delivery tracking link said the order was canceled, so I called the restaurant to ask and the guy said "okay, ten minutes," and hung up without asking my name or order number or anything so uh. We'll see?? What happens?

Tell me you don't ride the subway without telling me you don't ride the subway, jfc.

"Yes, there’s danger in opening our gates to this statue. But there’s also danger in keeping it out… the danger of eroding the sanctity of the gift-giving process."

I had an older dad -- he turned 65 while I was still a minor, which meant I got some social security benefits for a couple of years. It all went into savings and eventually paid for my room, board, and books for college.
