April: I actually started and finished this book in the first three days of the month and it was SO good and SO unexpected that I haven’t picked anything else up since, in order to recover 🤣 fantastic series that I can’t wait to revisit in a few years 👍🏼 📚💙

Also February: my mum’s recommended this book every so often since it came out, and with the Netflix special out now I decided to read it before watching.
Beautifully written, broke my heart into a thousand tiny pieces, shot my sense of mortality into space. 🧡 📚💙

February: I just finished Scythe, which I picked up because of its comparisons to THG. I can understand the comparison in some ways, other ways not so much. It stands on its own. I wasn’t sure about it at first but it ended up being really good and I’m excited for the next one now. 🗡️

January: finished my second read-through of TBoSS, because the release of the movie made me re-read the original trilogy and watch all the films (the last two for the first time). I got through Catching Fire in a day and a half. The Hunger Games still smells like my school bag.
I loved it. 🕊️🐍
