We had a Columbus statue taken down a couple years ago. The pedestal is still there though. Def one of those things where the man was a footnote then but became popular when convenient and useful for the then current era

I live the next state over from Lexington and Concord. I don’t think we are quite there yet but the chances I feel are certainly getting closer. I just mused that everyone there did not think they were at the start of something as big as the revolution.
