If only there was evidence from virtually every other mls cup winner that you don’t in fact have to blow up your roster the next year… Is roster building a challenge in mls? Sure. But we don’t have to act like this kind of disaster is normal. It’s literally unprecedented in fact!

An interesting conversation. Goals/appearances isn’t particularly close. I think Jaime Moreno and BWP have a case subjectively. But a fair argument for Josef for sure.

While I agree with Paul's assessment of this information, things have shifted significantly since Zavagnin took over. In those games it is 68 final third passes per xG vs 45 for their opponent. Still not great(SJ is an outlier in the sample), but vastly improved, so far.

I’m gonna avoid the JFR news b/c it makes me grumpy. I’m hopeful that Agada finds a good landing spot through all of this. I’m not sure the the situation is as cut and dried as SKC asking for too much for him though. Anyway, read Tom’s stuff, he does yeoman’s work covering this league for us.
