Walz: If you say you love freedom but you don't believe freedom is for everybody, then the thing you love is not freedom, it is privilege.

love runs with my little girl - she’s super energetic

Post a gif of who you wanted to be as a kid I mean, yeah he was charming; but I just wanted my hair to look that good 🥲

decades of reflection about music and traffic safety later I'm finally emotionally ready to admit that "Move Bitch" was a completely unhinged song. every verse on it more antisocial than the previous one

Finally finished Mark Hoppus’ book, fahrenheit-182, and I’m so grateful I picked it up! It’s wild to think that while we were all too depressed to go on without blink-182, Mark also had his share of hard emotions around not playing shows!

New family portrait

I thought I was prepared for tonight’s episode of The Last of Us - you know, because I’ve been there. I’ve suffered the trauma and come out on the other side. I was wrong.

Having a real hard time listening to a band sing about fake friends and “working for everything you earned” when they didn’t pay our band for the two (2) shows we helped sell out! Real genuine of you to sing about fake people, when you owe so much to others that you never gave credit to

Made this to practice on and immediately rolled my ankle 🙄 another tale in the ongoing series of the shitty body of a 30 something year old.

How To Train Your Dragon - Muppets Edition

Our DM sent us a photo of our DnD party celebrating after a completed campaign 🖤

We had breakfast, this morning, at The Nest Cafe in Alpharetta. Really, we went for the Lolli-waffles (chocolate chip), but the cold brew and BEC croissant was a nice addition ☕️🥐🧇

When talking about how i wasn’t looking forward to how hard my work day was going to be, my therapist reminded me that I should switch my mindset from “have to” to “get to.” So, I told her, “I don’t HAVE to be the bearer of bad news; I GET to be the bearer of bad news!” She didn’t find that funny.

“Sticks and stones can break my bones…” I sing through tears as I respond, “thanks for the feedback,” to a work email.

a sunny day with my girls 🖤 josie was too busy running the fence with the neighbors dog to pose for a photo.

Deciding to relearn everything I used to do on a skateboard after 20 years is probably the worst decision I’ve made in 20 years

If you’re wrong, I truthfully don’t need you to even admit you’re wrong, I just need you to lose the attitude and get out of my face.

cereal and cream with the family

You can’t have an “I’m not going to hold your hand” vibe in the workplace if you can’t give basic directions when delegating work. You either: 1. Believe people should work to some imaginary expectation you set and didn’t share 2. Enjoy belittling people for completing a task without guidance

Took me years of therapy, which coincidentally matched the same amount of time I have been in the advertising industry, to realize that most of these people should never have access to me - let alone my mental health

The self help industry, now re-branded as “mindfulness,” really went from “find joy in life, if you aren’t finding purpose at work” to “find joy in your job - even if you arent finding purpose at work” It’s still millionaires selling their lifestyle, to people struggling to make ends meet

you’re fired. wait you’re rehired. email us a list of things you’ve done today wait forget it you’re fired again. come back your job was important. you’re fired. or hired. come in to the office. wait the office has no computers go home. we are the department of government efficiency.

The beauty of a dandelion is that it never stops fighting, even when life is harsh. February 💜
