I mean, it’s pretty obvious, unless someone is willfully blind to it.

If it worked that way, I would agree, but a lot of people seem to just log in once a month to save their house and then don’t even play. In my own FC alone, there were several people who did just that and it’s a relatively small FC. I also did that during my year long break and am doing so now.

You have to bid on a plot, of which there are a finite amount, in order to get the chance to have a player home. A number is rolled when the bidding period ends, based on how many people put in a bid. If your number is drawn, you get the plot.

Targeted harassment that leads to suicide should carry a homicide charge for those involved.

At a minimum, I fully expect some endless tower related DLC. The main room is already set up for it.

“Doing something with no prior knowledge” or in other words, diving in with no protection. It works.

Playing the old 360 versions on a series console is great, but we all know the new one will come to PlayStation eventually. A lot of modern PS gamers were once 360 gamers, but there are many who are younger that really got into gaming during PS4. Would be beneficial to remaster the OG trilogy.

Beyond that, even for people who are actually disabled, it’s already incredibly difficult to get approved as it is, at least for SSDI. SSI is comparatively easy, but barely pays anything.

Honestly, if it means people who are actually disabled are paid a fair income, I really don’t care. It’s no different than food stamps or any other social program. The vast majority who receive the benefits will be those who do actually need them. A few bad apples is whatever.

I do feel like the console itself is a worthwhile investment, strictly for the performance boost it provides to nearly every single game in the switch 1 library.

Exactly. The only reason switch 1 was an anomaly in that regard, was the novelty of it. Switch 2 doesn’t have that luxary and it also has competition on multiple fronts between its own last gen iteration, PC handhelds, PS portal, and the upcoming Xbox handheld. Novelty won’t cut it this time.

This is also true and is actually the exact case with me. Outside of the bundled Mario Kart game, I have not and likely will not make another purchase on my Switch 2 for a good while, as I have a large backlog of Switch 1 games I already need to play and now can play with good performance.

Bravely Default, Street Fighter, and Cyberpunk are the only ones that really justify the price, as far as the ports are concerned. Yakuza, for example, is great, but you’d be hard pressed to get someone to pay $50 for something they can routinely find for $5 on other platforms.

Oh, 100%. Regardless of my choice(s) in regards to next gen, I’m keeping my PS5 and Series X. Graphically, things can’t improve drastically from where we are now, so there’s no real incentive to move up unless performance becomes a more prominent issue.

Yeah, but we don’t know if that’ll be the case with the 6. I fully expect if they don’t go fully digital, the actual disc drive will be an optional purchase like it is on the pro.

The next Xbox will have access to Steam and presumably epic as well, so if someone wants the console experience and likely a lower cost of entry, the next Xbox console would be it.

If you prefer the console experience, the next Xbox would be the way to go. Access to the Xbox library, as well as what have been to-date PC exclusive titles, as well as the majority of PlayStation’s best titles. Really only missing Nintendo. Seems the most cost effective place to play.
