folks, there’s good news for a change. that anti-trans executive order sports ban won’t be a law this week; they didn’t get closer to defining trans people out of legal existence or trans women as men under the law. this matters. no democrats broke ranks. thank you to everyone who called. 💜🏳️‍⚧️

the thing about hrt is that it is not other medication. it does not require titration. you do not have to, and categorically should not, start at the lowest possible dosage. the only reason this happens is because transition is seen as a fail state of "side effects" that doctors want to discourage.

A decade ago, I went on book tour with Sybil Lamb. We did 32 cities across the US/Canada, read with dozens of writers and met hundreds of people. So many of them are now dead. All of them are transsexuals. The oldest didn't make it to 50. I say this because I want you to live and I'm going to too.
