Public comment is now open for passport gender marker changes.
You can go here to go to each of the three proposed passport rules, and submit comment.
My suggestion: be unique, argue for trans-inclusive policies, against the constitutionality of the changes, etc.

Still, public comments become part of the regulatory history for the final rule. At the barest minimum, comments set the record for future generations. (2/2)
Passport application rejected (sent all required docs + copy of legal name change from judge). They kept my docs.
Dept in my birth county won't send me a copy of my birth certificate or let me change my name on it.
I didn't even change my name because of my gender identity. I went from fem name to fem name.

The purpose of a passport is identification. Assigned sex at birth doesn't help with identification if the person presents as a different gender now. It can only sew confusion.
They might as well ask eye color at birth.
"Sow" confusion.
- The "Submit a Public Comment" button on https://federalregister.gov
- The forms at https://www.reginfo.gov/public/do/PRAMain (linked under the "Addresses" heading)
- Clicking "Public Comments" in the sidebar and following the link to https://Regulations.gov?
- there's no citation of "at birth" in the EO because those clowns just HAD to work in their abortion politics
- "at conception" per the rules of the game, the definition of Male in the EO is not met by biology. Impossible to implement.
That’s just awful.
People in America deserve to have every right to do what they want with their bodies.
Thank you.”

Of course not. And because Congress chose to protect nothing, most of what State and HHS and others do is at their discretion - little that law or litigation can do.
am i the only one who cannot see the comments?
Like “if you are bigoted towards transgender people then I, a non-transgender person will not visit the US, not give you my tourist dollars, will not invest in your businesses.
Your choice America, just remember that choices have consequences.”

And people buy it bc fascists know how to prey on any fears and anxieties they have about sex

The book I was thinking of when I typed that reply, How Fascism Works, was published during Trump's first term
"Machismo. Fascists show disdain for women, disregard for chastity, and condemnation of homosexuality."
Point being that paternalism is a hallmark of fascism and combined with other indicators?

Guess they have no need for that portion of things, then, seeing as they decided we're all women.
Job done! :D

Is it harmful to the trans cause to point out that there are scores intersex conditions that prove that binary gender is a lie? Seems like a slam dunk but I don't want to use an argument that could cause harm.
I say use the argument.
For comparison that's in the neighborhood of the number of Jews slaughtered by the Nazis (the 3rd Reich Nazis not the various current types of Nazis).
