I did some stand-up comedy for the first time on Friday! Written in two days, never rehearsed, but it went really well. I don't think a single joke completely bombed. Performing in a wedding dress may have helped.

Heating engineers came to spec up the house for some work yesterday. We forgot that this sign was in a cupboard they needed to inspect. The engineers were... bemused. It's not mine, I hasten to add.

Smarmy Dems and the transphobes in Labour dismiss trans rights as a decadent blue/green issue that can be safely jettisoned, rather than understanding that trans people's safety, health, and civil rights are an orange/red issue. Not just for trans people — for everyone's right to their own body.
