Jesus Christ almighty. Tipping seat backs? That is dangerously thrilling. I'm surprised this was allowed.

To call the new one a library is a bit of a joke. There are barely any books accessible to the public. It feels like it's 70% lobby.

The Keelox wordmark is great, but my favourite is the Elk tin. Perfectly embodies its era.

Ooh, that *is* a fun fact!
I only have a laser black and white printer, which I think does something else but I'm not sure what. Mine is currently printing little speckles over everything anyway.

Yeah, I hope so. I've got a few sculpture ideas lined up and a game project which I could quite easily restart. How's your project going? It's looking amazing!

I've been completely swamped with other things to be honest! I took on a landscaping job and it's taken two months to get to the point of being mostly finished, due to various delays and mishaps. So I've barely done anything creative for ages. :/

Yeah. This is why there are only, like, three printer companies, no 'disruptive startups', and why your printer won't print something black and white if it's out of yellow.

And another 30% on printing secret invisible patterns on everything. For real.

This implies that Lou Bega shagged his way through an entire netball team, making it the only netball team in the world with no lesbians whatsoever.

Fair enough! In truth I was going on the headline for the FT one because I'm not subscribed. I thought it seemed potentially similar enough to be suspect. Glad you're not being plagiarised. :)

I don't have the figure for being a femboy, and sissy feels like a problematic term to me. Not opposed to lingerie, though.

Looks great! And yes, immediately much more purposeful. This definitely goes a long way to shaking the 'but why tho' feelings I was having. :)

...the design is bad, so please don't take it that way! I'm just wondering if there's a way that it could be justified in-universe as well as looking cool and sci-fi. :)

...bit in the middle. If the shielding is just a perimeter wall, why would it curve in that way? Thinking like an engineer, I'd probably just have a standard vertical fence, which would be much cheaper and easier to make, or maybe put the whole thing in a big tube.
I'm not trying to imply that...

Bear in mind that I'm playing devil's advocate a bit, hopefully in a way that's helpful - I don't want to come across as critical in a harsh way. But the domed shape of the shielding makes it look like the top and bottom are the bits being shielded, not the bit which looks dangerous - the glowing...

I agree with the top comment. I guess my problem with the design on the left is the the hexagon plating doesn't really hint at having a purpose. It comes across as having been chosen only for aesthetic reasons. What is it meant to be doing in relation to the function of this machine?

I suspect this is why he was chosen, in fact. The Vatican wanting an American voice that can push back against Trump with American Catholics in particular.

I'm really sorry you're not feeling heard. It's super difficult asking for feedback and not getting it - it's torpedoed projects of mine too. Just remember that your efforts matter, and that you'll never please everyone.

The old one was very dated and pretty ugly, but it's always a shame to see Albertus abandoned. There's no other typeface quite like it.
