As someone who is a PC hardware enthusiast, I think the thing that's the most overrated in this space is 144Hz+ displays. I have three of them, and they're all locked to 120Hz. I get the appeal of 120. But that's really the limit. Maybe if I was into competitive twitch shooters, I'd feel different.
