Hoyeon is still adjusting to tactics [I think this must have been filmed shortly after the second preseason game] so he said he needs to adapt faster. They end the video with thanking their fans with their support.

Sang Bin’s not bothered by the road trips since they fly via private plane it’s very comfortable and easy. Hoyeon thinks its convenient and compares it to the national team travel where they fly on commercial flights. He thinks its faster than a train ride in Korea. /6

Hoyeon wants to learn English quickly. Sang Bin thinks his English is terrible but the team & staff think he’s good at English. Since he came to America he’s been learning a lot outside of soccer and he thinks living overseas is a great learning experience. /5

Sang Bin’s told Hoyeon to not rush things & put too much pressure on himself, he should relax & slowly adjust. Sang Bin mentions that Korean players get more notice now & he’s grateful to the senior players for leaving such a good impression. He wants to be a good role model for younger players. /4

They’re still figuring out how Hoyeon will play in what position in practices. Sang Bin is able to give insight about what coaches want. Hoyeon is still adjusting to the time difference since he had to go to Canada. Hoyeon doesn’t have a house or a car yet so Sang Bin has been driving him around /3

Hoyeon wants to learn English quickly so he can understand instructions better. They talk a little bit of how the style of play is different in Korea. Hoyeon is still adjusting to the difference in physicalities from the Korean game to US game. American soccer is very dynamic /2

First couple of minutes they talk about communicating and how Sang Bin helps interpret. Sang Bin talks about how difficult it was when he first lived abroad. Hoyeon is glad Sang Bin is there to help him adapt. Sang Bin thinks his English is simple and wishes he could express himself better /1

They don’t have this problem in kleague because they put their full name on the jersey 😄

Most likely. There could also be a preference to spelling his personal name whether he wants Ho-yeon, Hoyeon or Ho Yeon. Or maybe he wants Jeong on his jersey instead.

Both can be correct. 정 can be spelled Jeong or Jung depending on what system of Romanization you use.
