I'm not trying to say that any of the horrific stuff isn't happening, that you can't trust it. I don't mean just shut down. Just be mindful of what you're focusing on, and what you can do about it.

Double check the stuff that sounds particularly horrific, and NOT ON HERE. Find a different source, one that isn't conveniently short and meme shaped. Get full context and don't accept the scariest sounding description of events as the purest truth.
