"Wisconsinites don’t want a billionaire like Musk telling them who to vote for," spokesman Derrick Honeyman said. #Wisconsin www.jsonline.com/story/news/p...

Wisconsin—ignore the polls & get your ass to the voting booth on Tuesday. Elon Musk is dumping millions to turn out a group that usually stays home—voters that the pollsters didn’t account for. Don’t let the richest man on Earth buy your state to serve his own interests. Show up and shut him down.👀

Across the last 48 hours, “Signalgate” has morphed from one scandal into what I think is best thought of as five distinct overlapping scandals, as well as providing some fascinating political insight into who has power and how decisions get made in Trump II. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/the-five-s...

Meiselas: Steve Witkoff, was allegedly in Moscow while he was on this group chat. Do you believe the Russians now have all of that information and potentially more? Rice: Well, yes—the Russians have whatever Witkoff was doing or saying on his personal cell phone. The Russians undoubtedly have it.

"The biggest reason for long-term optimism is the most obvious: people are finding their voices. Please use yours."

The DOJ is asking a federal judge for the United States to replace Trump in civil lawsuits seeking to hold the president accountable for Jan. 6. The unusual move comes amid the Trump administration’s larger effort to erode the DOJ’s independence.

From the great American hero judge Michael Luttig “Judge Boasberg doesn’t want to assume the role of president; the president wants to assume the role of judge.”

Let’s cut to the chase: If the admin had incontrovertible evidence that these folks were TdA they would not be afraid of a hearing and due process. The Bush admin did it for Gitmo detainees picked up in Afghanistan ffs

A new, challenging AGI test stumps most AI models

Not only is there good old shoe-leather reporting here, but if you scroll to their "Related Stories" at the bottom, it reads like the amazing saga of story after damning story on Rep. Ogles.

Trump never knows what his own administration is doing, but he’s fully aware of every single mean thing everyone on TV said about him that day.

What Judge Boasberg really needed was to be included in the Signal chat.

the law clinic repping this student, CLEAR, is based out of CUNY.....once again the public city university absolutely flounces the ivy league when it comes to having a backbone and standing on actual principles

Holy shiitake

The Trump administration has now filed six emergency applications at #SCOTUS challenging rulings by six different federal district judges spread across five different federal district courts. Maybe it's not the judges who are "rogue"?

"I don’t know how Pete Hegseth can look service members in the eye."

A federal judge in Maryland granted a preliminary injunction on Monday barring top officials at the Education Department and the Office of Personnel Management from turning over sensitive data to Elon Musk and members of his team while a privacy lawsuit continues.

How many Signal chats with sensitive information about military operations are ongoing within the Pentagon right now? Where else are war plans being shared with such abject disregard for our national security? We need answers. Right now.

Let's see if they get beyond Susan Collins-speak

Brit is apparently not willing to go along with the New Big Lie being pushed by Hegseth and Fox hosts.

1/2 House GOP issued 70+ subpoenas on HRC's penny-ante email "scandal." J Comey changed fate of the country (and world) w his last-minute decision to "re-open" the case. Ten days before election NYT gave nearly all of its front page to Comey's preening move. Reminder:

The Fifth Amendment says due process is due all persons, whether the number eight or eight million. And if there were a mass-violation exception to the Constitution, why have a constitutional at all?

President Donald Trump is defending his decision to send a delegation to Greenland once again — but the Greenlandic government put out a statement smacking down his reasoning.

I’m old enough to remember when Secretary Hegseth tried to publicly mock Judge Reyes—suggesting that she didn’t know what she was doing when it comes to protecting our national security. It was … two days ago.

Shout out to Jeffrey Goldberg for reporting on this now instead of waiting two years to put it in a book.

Pete Hegseth is a danger to this country and our men and women in uniform.

Trump is ordering the DOJ to go after me & other lawyers because he’s losing! Now is not the time for capitulation—& most of us are standing up We’ll keep fighting & we’ll keep WINNING as I’ll discuss tonight @8pm ET w/ Anderson Cooper @cnn.com

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

So I guess that means none of the people on the Signal thread have “official acts” immunity from being prosecuted under the Espionage Act. What’s the SOL on that again? Five years?

BREAKING: Chief Judge Boasberg denies the federal government's effort to vacate the TROs in the Alien Enemies Act case, finding that people the government claims are subject to the proclamation at least have a right to "individualized hearings to determine whether the Act applies to them at all."

Just saying: if Lloyd Austin had done this, every GOP lawmaker would call for his resignation by close-of-business the same day, and they'd probably have it.

Today, I am calling on Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and other top officials in the Trump administration to resign immediately due to their reckless and unlawful disclosure of national security secrets. Their actions have put our country at risk, and immediate accountability is necessary

🚨NEW: Donald Trump links targeting of law firms to election denialism. When asked about corporate clients pressuring law firms to capitulate to his demands, he responded: “Law firms have to behave themselves… having to do with the elections and other things, they behaved very badly, very wrongly.”
