It's genuinely difficult to even understand what's going on around the border, because this is a dirty war being fought on the mass communications & information front in a way that couldn't have been done before this era of fascist informational and institutional capture.

Yeah I saw the same for several Indians who did make it here. There's no patience also, in an era like this, to wait for your new account on a new platform to start getting engagement etc. Especially for people in journalism under oppressive regimes. Can't entirely blame them.
