The worst part of having #asthma may not be the difficulty breathing, but instead the side effects of rapid acting bronchodilators. I’m having to use mine a lot as I recover from a cold and I hate the shaky, jittery feeling. 🫨😵‍💫

Perhaps my fave part of working for myself is being able to sit on the couch on a Friday night and catch up on menial tasks while watching movies and enjoying hubs’ company. I could work remotely on occasion at my previous long term job, but I’d feel resentful. Now it’s a thing I really WANT to do!

Welp, this is happening. Went back to the doc today to get my BP rechecked after a high reading at a check-up last week. At today’s appt, it was high again (156/95; avg over 3 tests). So they told me to get a BP monitor & track it for a week. I return in 2 weeks to retest. Meds may be in my future.

My dad came home from the hospital tonight!! After two weeks and two days, he’s finally home. He’s still on oxygen and using a wheelchair bc walking is difficult. His treatment team figured out that he has COPD, which is partly why his pneumonia was so bad that it required over 2 weeks of treatment.

It’s not super visible yet, but I’m working on a gray stripe. I tried this about 5 years ago, but didn’t have enough gray hair. Plus red hair turns blonde before it turns gray and I didn’t (still don’t!) want to be a blonde 😜
