I dislike bio’s, really. I’m a late 40 year old female with a 24-year-old daughter. We have two dogs, two cats, one guinea pig. I was Arletta on Twitter. Went to Mastodon, but I don’t remember what name it was. I left though.

He's mad his lies about Ukraine were fact-checked by his own website so he wants to change the fact-checking system

President Zelenskyy is the democratically elected leader of a sovereign country who is bravely standing against the illegal invasion of Ukraine by a murderous ACTUAL dictator called Vladimir Putin

Not the most important thing, but why are autocrats so sullen and resentful? They won. They got all the power and money. They’re going down in history (one way or another). They can’t be ignored or bullied. They can even hurt their enemies. Why are they so obviously living unhappy, joyless lives?

For the people in the back, have a #disability doesn’t make you racist, antisemitic, homophobic, transphobic, Islamophobic or a misogynist. Being a bigot is NOT a mental illness and there’s no medication for it, because it’s not an individual problem. It’s systemic, societal wide misinformation.

In its latest post, the Academy of Ideas conflates neurodiversity with mental health. As an autistic person, I strongly object to this. Neurodiverse people may or may not have mental health problems, but neurodiversity itself is not a mental health issue.

#PIP People in mental distress often use pip to pay for therapy as unable to get support on NHS. For many it’s used to pay bills, pay towards rent & every day essentials. Cut this & disabled people won’t be able to live & will be further marginalised in society
