For the people in the back, have a #disability doesn’t make you racist, antisemitic, homophobic, transphobic, Islamophobic or a misogynist. Being a bigot is NOT a mental illness and there’s no medication for it, because it’s not an individual problem. It’s systemic, societal wide misinformation.

In its latest post, the Academy of Ideas conflates neurodiversity with mental health. As an autistic person, I strongly object to this. Neurodiverse people may or may not have mental health problems, but neurodiversity itself is not a mental health issue.
