Social media exploits everyone’s anxiety to check on it and then they mildly entertain you enough to stay on it. I loathe it. I want to meet people offline, and use my social media time to write books instead. Someday when I’m more healed up and less addicted. 🫤

I’ve never downloaded TikTok to begin with. My instinct was ”it’s a trap!” I used to have a YouTube channel, I gave up on it. Too much self-generated pressure.

I have complications also that I have to keep in mind. I have pelvic floor dysfunction still, and all of my muscles were used in the wrong way for at least 8 years. 😬

Dissociation and distraction. Yoga hasn't become a coping mechanism again yet because I have to take 3 day breaks from each class because I am wiped out every time. I forget that heating pads exist.

The first session is an interview, set down your boundaries and explain why they’re there. Trust is a key thing to develop. If they know you don’t trust them and they haven’t done anything to repair that trust, leave. 😬
