Humanist. Physician Associate. Healthcare should be free. Corporations are evil. Tax the rich. Eat billionaires. Etc etc. Unions and taxes are preferable to guillotines but I'm honestly fine with either pathway. Former NAFO Fella who fled Xitter.

US Fellas are never gonna stop Felling. But until Trump crumps (politically), EU Fellas need to step it up for all our sakes.

Both our houses are on fire. There's enough water to put both out, and I very much want my neighbor to be able to use that water. But it's very hard to think about my neighbor's house while watching mine burn down.

At least he acknowledged the possibility of there being a different president. Dear God the bar is low nowadays

If - IF - the EU can resist asymmetrical post-truth social media manipulation by the FSB. Assuming they're right that Putin has designs on NATO, he'd be wise to put that off until they can legitimately force EU social systems off balance.

The nukes make Russia dangerous. It makes its non-nuclear allies worthless unless they have mass, because guns are still deadly even if they're totally outclassed. But Russia has no hope whatsoever in a conventional air war. And the EU can absolutely accomplish air superiority without the US.

If it wasn't painfully obvious that Russian miltech advancement essentially ceased after the economic collapse of the 90s, it should be now. The only progression is ballistic missile technology and as we're seeing in both Israel AND Ukraine, it isn't worth much without a nuclear warhead.

Iran's anti-air capabilities are based on current active Russian technology and it is *worthless* against Israeli 5th gen stealth and humint infiltration. Ukraine is shitting on Russian air capabilities with aged-out fighter aircraft.

If somebody is being detained at an immigration hearing or a school they are by-definition "documented." We need to be especially clear about who ICE is actually targeting.

Y tho? These days I mostly appreciate that he completely failed to roll back the police state, handed a quarter of Ukraine to Putin, and presided over an economic agenda just slightly to the left of Ronald Reagan.

Immigration "enforcement" will have a much greater impact on the economy than tariffs between the collapse of international tourism and lost agriculture labor.

In fairness to the crazies, that was a pretty tone-deaf take re: the current political moment. Especially with DHS deporting legal immigrants and - wait for it - *spouses* of legal residents.

They get replaced by loyalists who will prosecute whoever the administration wants them to, the mere threat of which often gets the admin what it wants. And we're talking about incompetent military commanders in this instance. Care to tell me how that's a good thing in *any* scenario?

Not a single fucking mention on the broadcast of how unbelievably illegal this is

That, and I think most people in the know are wise to Miller. Trump would be happy to leave with as much money as he can get. Miller is the real fascist in the henhouse.

"Conspiracy" has a very very high legal bar to jump over in the US. Which makes this a scare tactic, not an operable case.

They're part of the Caitlyn Johnstone "all wars are bad" if the US is involved Left. Doesn't make a lick of difference to them who the victim is: the US MIC is to blame.

It may not be reasonable, and I sincerely doubt any of those people are listening, but if any of them are it's worth hearing that the optics are awful and will be used against them. Not that the optics won't be used against them regardless. It just won't be as easy for Fox and co to sell.
