I once wrote smut, but haven't for a while. I'm fond of old cars, walks in the woods and sunsets. Totally smitten and ridiculously happy .

The perfect end to a day of physical labour. Bliss.

Today has been a full on DIY day. I am very much looking forward to a cold pint in the hot tub later.

The weeds may be plentiful, but the irises have taken over nicely from the tulips in my garden

That was a superb weekend. We had a family roadtrip to help my youngest daughter get married. I may have blubbed a bit..

Popped out for a spot of breakfast and a snack car meet. I do love driving my little toy. 😁

These tulips are an incredible colour. In some light they look black, in others they really shine with this vibrant purple. Of course if this were the old days on twitter, you'd be seeing a different picture as it is world naked gardening day. Enjoy the tulips and consider it a lucky escape!

If you see this, post your getaway vehicle.

I've just realised that this Saturday is world naked gardening day, and it's actually going to be warm in the UK for a change. I also have a lot of gardening to do, so... 😁

To celebrate the completion of The Library Trilogy with THE BOOK THAT HELD HER HEART, I'm giving away the full set of signed Locked Library special editions. To enter just repost. Contest held across my socials - enter elsewhere too to increase chances. Winner chosen randomly from all entries.

I could get used to a sky like this. What a glorious spring day it is here. Perfect for ignoring the world and losing myself in simple physical labour in my garden. If only I had the hot tub setup...

The first tulip to show it's head in my garden. There are another hundred or so behind this one. Spring is looking bright here. 😀

What a beautiful spring day it has been. Warm, blue sky, no clouds and nature waking up everywhere. Absolutely glorious 😀

Some thoughts on why there are certain books all men must read

Fantastic result for the roses. They showed exactly why they are the current world number 1. Women's rugby is such a fast game, I really enjoy watching it.

I love spring. Watching buds form and open, to reveal an array of bright colours as new life fills the garden, is one of life's genuinely free pleasures.

I watched "Adolescence" on netflix yesterday. It's the most powerful drama I've ever seen. Technically brilliant, acted superbly and the writing was outstanding. It's a terrifying take on current society. A perfect clarion call. Watch it. 10/10

There's something special about seeing the sun rise through the stones for the spring equinox. #stonehenge

I'm enjoying the signs of spring in the park today. Listening to the rugby as I walk.

It was so nice to spend the weekend in the garden. Even the butterflies were coming out to enjoy the early flowers and blossom. Spring has sprung.

And relax.. The week is finally over, what a whirlwind that was. If you need me, I shall be relaxing over here for the next few days.

Hey America, if English is now the official language over there, will you be correcting all those odd spellings? Things like colour and aluminium for a start.

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

Sunset tonight. I was driving towards it and missed my chance to get a picture with the sun hanging above the horizon.

The sunset over Stonehenge was a lovely colour today.

I've actually made it home before dark today. That marks a real turning point in the year. Roll on the lighter evenings of spring!
