You’d think a law firm worth its salt would be able to recognize and strategize about extortion. 🤬

I feel such a strong urge to do something, anything, support President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is *man enough* to come vulnerably, humbly, Practically begging for US support he rightly deserves. What can the average citizen do for him, for Ukraine? How can we put our money where our mouth is? 🇺🇦💔

Jesus Christ. My heart goes out to these dear people affected and the life lost. Is it even safe to fly anymore?

So frightening. What is our first step in getting them out of there and holding Trump, Musk and accomplices accountable?

Let’s not cave in that easily, hmm? We can push that Overton window right back where it belongs. Bring on the protests, ACLU, ballot measures, whatever we can throw.

Forgive my ignorance, but doesn’t a pardon necessarily imply or assume admission of guilt? IOW, the conviction stands — so no guns allowed— but you’re free to get out of punishment? Or maybe that includes buying guns you. I’m sure I’ve got something wrong here.

Why? Why would they do this? I mean I get they’re persona non grata w/trump, but they’re a protective measure in our incoming-unstable gov’t. and our nat’l security is now at even greater risk. Couldn’t they at least make him fire them? Allow for those terrible optics? 🥺

We all know on a gut level (those of us pacing/not able to sleep on election night) that something was terribly wrong. This all but confirms it. But being not-nut-jobs, how do we say it out loud to anyone that has the tools and authority to confront it?

So really, it’s McConnell who holds blame, and the MOC that let him stonewall. The president and the Congress are not meant to interact in legislating. Congress acts independently. McConnell has brought us a world of hurt.
