They're more along the lines of Mars Attacks Guys, but the Alien arena games are alright (and free).

Haha, yeah. I guess it was probably my first foray into 4x space sims now that I think of it, but I feel like the actual alien stats only factored into things in a small way.
Naming your planets was another awesome feature, despite being totally meaningless.

I didn't get into RenX since it was mainly multiplayer, but loved the original's SP campaign.

That game was wild. It was super hard to get running, and at no point did I really understand what I was doing, but I loved every moment. The soundtrack, and blowing crewmembers out of the airlock were highlights for me.

I recall loving the demo bank level, but finding the level of interactive environments dropped significantly for the rest of the game, which was a drag. Overall a good game though.

I did the same. Really broke the emersion when I had to stop exploring and chumming with robot hobos to run from the Flood.

I agree, but also, make sure to leverage (and support!) online groups like the Internet Archive (archive.org) who are fighting to keep knowledge freely available for all.

The more I look at it the less I can even conceptualize it as being Patrick Stewart's hands.

I knows it's insane but stuff like this makes me think a lot about the short story "The Screwfly Solution".

Awesome. I'm a big fan of those. I don't suppose you know Todd Guenther? I tried to get hold of him to thank/pester him about his Akyazi book but never heard back. And that's fine; I just hope he's doing well wherever he is.

Nice. Are those mirror Akyazis near the Galaxys in the middle?

Hey, I just finished converting scans of the books to ePub format for eReader devices and apps. They're not perfect as the scans weren't the best, but it should be readable.

Has a very Norman Rockwell style to it - it looks really cool with Warhammer stuff in that style. It'd be funny to see one of a Mechanicum priest visiting his grandson, with a baby Tyranid in one pocket

Yeah, that's fair. Once they showed the aliens it was over pretty quickly.

This is one of my favourite EPs - alien abduction horror works surprisingly well in ST. The scene where they're reproducing the table on the holodeck and it's dawning on them that their experience is real is super well done.

This was one of my favourite games on the NES.

I remember back in the day I had found one of the artists' early concepts for the Tulip and it looked much more futuristic - almost like the Andromeda from the show of the same name. I prefer the season two one but it was neat to see.

I always loved this artwork (ironically and unironically, to various degrees), and I knew he didn't have his iconic buster arm, but I never realized he just has a regular old gat.

The Dick Tracy NES game. Also, Cybermage: Darklight Awakening. Though to be fair, most people didn't hate it, because they didn't know about it.

There's an official/unofficial fifth one called "From Evil Seeds". No ISBN as it was only published on the turok website, but it's by Fabian Nicieza, who I understand wrote a lot of the comics

Yeah. It'd be cool to get some resolution to both seasons' cliffhangers.

They've been teasing a third season for about ten years now. They did SH Redux for season one but I haven't seen it yet. Seems to connect the first two seasons in prep for S3 but I'm not holding my breath until I see something tangible.

Starhunter was a hokey, low budget Canadian show that had an awesome setting and story. And the main characters' ship, the Tulip, is one of my all time favourites.

The Scavenger Base, along with the Voyager interiors, are what made the game for me. That and dragging Neelix in holomatch.
