I, also, try to avoid ever mentioning them. But when I have to, (all of once so far, I think) I would do that to avoid the bots and cult followers who search for mentions just to harass the person posting. :/ But I definitely appreciate the reminder that filters are a thing

I slept in a bed with my paternal grandma for a while as a little girl and we would wake nightly, naturally, and have little chats before falling back asleep! I loved these private moments. Wonderful to learn how rooted in history they were.

If I'm trying to give something back to someone dodging me I leave it with a neighbor or something so it's not my responsibility anymore. They have the address to mail things to, they could do that at any point without needing contact at all. There's no way they don't look like creeps here
