I feel this deep pain. My friend pre-ordered on walmart after his initial pre-order on target rejected his card back in April. I am filled so much jealousy. I will never forgive him.

All very true but as someone who read jojo pre SBR I still love those moments when he goes hard.

He is most likely a 40 year old dude with wife, kids, a job, and a house, which makes it worse, I think.

I remember seeing a ton of discussion about the deceptive vertical slice of conference demo as well and folks were already souring on Levine around that time.

Aside from the major mainstream sites I felt the general gaming blogosphere of that era were very down on it. Perhaps it was circles I was in but I heard a lot of negative attitudes towards the game. Both regards to narrative but also it's weak rpg systems.

I don't understand how this game is $45. Folks need to be picking this up immediately. I thought it would be smaller game because of the price. People need to not let it be a titanfall 2 situation.

As someone who posted on there 2006-2009...I'm should be worried. But thankfully I wasn't racist or dumb back then...OK maybe dumb. I was different back then. Kinda

Well I like and as someone who rewatched netflix daredevil with my partner just before starting Born Again we kinda find it OK. But we're not sure if it's because we just came from the fantastic 3rd season. We actively disliked the 2nd half of season 2 and find born again to be more enjoyable.

Seeing that all these games incorporate dynamic resolution scaling, I wonder how they will display on the switch 2 with a specific upgrade patch

Same and its also one of the early light novels series I read and learned I do not like light knows. But this before official translations and before"the purge", iykyk. Glad I dropped out of project when I did.

This game is perfect for a sequel. Great ideas just needs a little more meat on the bone.

I still have my issue 1 copy of Raijin comics. I was working at barnes and noble at the time and snapped it up real quick.

I've been in the market for a new reader. I have never heard of this one. It would be nice to switch to an open platform. Glad to see another option

I have not gone back to watch it because I don't want to take away my good memories of it or relive the cringe that was my life as a fansubber.

I'm ashamed/not ashamed that mine was the over dramatic camp that is Gundam Seed. Sure I saw Wing but many years after jp airdate. Those weekly fansubs was the first time I was directly involved in that scene.

I was laid off from a job 12 years ago and was unemployed for more than 6 months. I still feel anxiety and desperation from that experience. I can never fully shake that feeling. Now i have even more financial responsibilities and have no idea how I could manage unemployment for that length of time

I once walked out of my college anime club weekly fansub screening when they started playing it. Boy as much I hate the horrible isekai boom, the moe garbage of the 00s gave me so much psychic damage every time I had to announce a new episode fansub release. I'm now 40 I don't got time for this.

My only take on this as a millennial; as soon online humor hit the mainstream to be sold as a commercial product to normies it stopped being funny. But then again I wasn't 10 when ytmnd was a thing.

Remember when early ps2 games were clean smooth polygonal models running at 60fps. There's something about that early ps2 era game still find aesthetically appealing.

Chrono Cross holds a special place in my heart because of its powerful soundtrack. As a nervous, anxious teen, I would let overworld music play overnight to help me sleep.

The Bladesinger wizard subclass for 5e fits the bill. I played one in a 3 year long campiagn. I'm very proud of it. Created my own history and take on how the powers work.

I had conservative Christians parents so I didn't have the freedom to dress or express myself that way (too fearful). I was just your standard nerdy looking kid in t shirt and jeans. My younger bro on the other hand said fuck it after I left for college and went deep into the aesthetic (circa 2002)

I lost my shit when they appeared during my first playthrough Chrono Cross. I knew I had to recruit him. I was just getting into Gackt, Malice Mizer, dir en grey fandom when the game came out. I forget sometimes how non mainstream I was in highschool.
