Good morning friends! Sending you all a big hug on this Friday morning. Today I will be trying to remember that even small acts of kindness and love matter—and to do a few.

One of the better parts of Instagram was the occasional absurdity and levity… I would love to see more balance. Yes, we have serious work to do, but an occasional giggle is so important. 💞 Hope you smile today friends.

Remember hope? Remember waking up not questioning if your children would have chance at a future? Those were good times. Imperfect, definitely, but there was room to grow… and few enough catastrophes that we could focus on those opportunities.

How bad do things have to get before our military steps in to defend the American people from the worst domestic threat in our history?

Same question for those who didn’t vote. What now smarty pants?

I hope America is as lucky as the delta jet - everyone survives but the right wing explodes

REPOST if you stand with AOC!

Just a quick departure from doom and gloom… My 4 year old is starting to read. Like many her age, born in the heart of the pandemic, she has had a speech delay. But today she showed me she could read a handful of words on brand new flash cards I made & showed them & once more after a shuffle. 🥹

Tired of waking up desperately hoping that over half the so called leaders of my country didn’t wake up…

It’s FUKKKING tiring already!

Me in 1999: “That South Park movie was wacky, imagining an American imperialism so deranged that they decide to invade Canada in a crusade of censorship. 😂” Me in 2025: 😐

Sharing this again because it’s all too relevant. This was from my work break room in 2004. The owners made jokes w customers that part of my job was to sleep w them. They also punished me for not working 6 days per week by canceling my insurance and laughing that I couldn’t go get abortions now.

This bit… Too many people forget how recently this was. The amount of extreme workplace harassment I have experienced in my life would leave 20 somethings in disbelief.
