Good morning friends! Sending you all a big hug on this Friday morning. Today I will be trying to remember that even small acts of kindness and love matter—and to do a few.

Small acts of kindness, a great solace to us all. Hold evil in check? Much as I have loved you JRR, I fear not. Still, life would be so bleak without those little kindnesses. And I have no better plan for holding evil in check. And an hour or two in MiddleEarth does me good.
Just today as I picked up my grandson from school I played Cats Steven’s Morning Has Broken! He seemed puzzled at the calm simplicity of the music. I tried to explain military draft, war for profit, our youth dying for stupid greed, and how our generation felt unspeakable joy and peace together!💙🇺🇸✝️
Dude, they're literally the Axis of Losers. The only thing they have in common. Nazis, Confederates, Nerds, Incels, rednecks, Russians ~ their all losers. Laugh at them, then get them out.
I give myself imaginary points every day for my small random acts of kindness. Like bringing in an extra grocery cart when taking mine back, or helping an elderly person load their groceries onto the checkout, or letting someone in front of me in line, I'm racking up angel points!!💖✨
Yep I discovered that too! Wish I could correct the post but can’t—will if I ever post again. Shows how closely the movie adapts the spirit of the books though! Take good care!
Thanks my friend, take good care, and have a great night! As long as we keep practicing love and kindness, we will be okay. Followed you, feel free to follow back if you’d like to stay connected!
Absolutely! But I feel it’s time to group and use our minds to fight against the evil powers that are taking our freedoms away and destroying us from the inside!
Hell yeah! Tolkien knew what he was on about! That's literally what the Lord of the rings is about, the small moments of courage and niceness when it dosent really matter are portrayed as the true heroic moments. Being good because you can, not because you have to is the whole point of LOTR!
Change yourself. Be the change you want to see. Be kind to people, even those who are struggling. Be ruthless in truth telling. Be brave, be bold, go tearing after what you believe in. No one will bring it to you. Money and power hit the dopamine receptors but they leave your spirit empty.
Thanks my friend—beautiful words. Take good care, and have a great night! As long as we keep practicing love and kindness, we will be okay. Followed you, feel free to follow back if you’d like to stay connected.
“Frodo undertook his quest out of love,” writes Tolkien in September of 1963, “to save the world he knew from disaster at his own expense, if he could; and also in complete humility, acknowledging that he was wholly inadequate to the task…"
I despise 3 types of people the most: ths who become arrogant & brutal whn they gain power, ths who pretend to know what they don't, ths who bully the weak. Trump & his team embody all three.
They don't dare to challenge Putin or Xi, yet brazenly bully Zelensky & Trudeau, which is truly despicable.
Let‘s wish for the strength to change the things we can change. And let’s wish for the patience to endure the things we cannot change. As well as the wisdom to distinguish one from the other (not mine, but I think it's very good - Especially in these times!)

Despite the TRUMPELON, justice still prevails. Alabama grand jury calls to shut down Hanceville police Department for operating as a criminal enterprise. Five officers, including the police chief indicted. TRUMPELON, your storm troopers will still be held accountable!
I believe this. You never know when someone is on the edge: the edge of despair, the edge of growth, the edge of enlightenment, and an act of kindness, like any well-timed intervention, may change a life. Never forget that you may be the message that person was waiting for.
Yes, they do. Lovely reminder and an inspiring quote that captures the essence of Tolkien's writing, but is from the Hobbit film, "An Unexpected Journey," not the books. That it is often attributed to Tolkien is a tribute to how well Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens, and Peter Jackson adapted his work. 💙

Happy Friday.

Ever notice how a stranger's face brightens when you offer an unexpected smile? Try it. Like the Grinch, we'll feel our heart swell 2 sizes.
A big hug to you!

You would reach more people, when you add a good description into the Alt-text field.
That is pretty easy, especially, when your image just contain text.
This way, you support visually impaired people and everyone else, who rely on a good filled Alt-text.

We need to be reminded. Often.
It's fuel for the resistance.
I'm following you back.
