Anybody out there used IT morphine for analgesia post spinal surgery? Epidural LA depot flooded in by surgeons can be useful and is used with varying deliberacy in some UK centres. I know of some teams who close leaving an epidural catheter in, then bolus LA down catheter and immediately remove.
