I bet a lot of people have had an experience like this with a bad boss - there’s an email in your inbox on Saturday night saying, “Prove to me your worthiness by Monday or else.” I’m on the side of the workers, not the billionaire asshole bosses.

I won’t believe it’s bad until Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, & James Carville tell us that *this* is a big enough deal that Dems should (finally) take action.

My turn to post 🦗 Anyway, guess what @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social is doing while democracy is falling apart…promoting his book on a book tour: bsky.app/profile/unra... So yeah, keep coming at me w/your BS attacks on @aoc.bsky.social. Reality is, she’s exactly the leader we need right now.

Lol, I had a feeling you were trolling me, and I was scolding myself for possibly engaging with a troll. Thank you for confirming that you are indeed nothing but a troll. Goodbye.

For example, here is a good point by @pbump.com about Dems needing to start acting like politicians moreso than just legislators. Do you agree or disagree: bsky.app/profile/pbum...

I repeat: what’s your point? What do you stand for? Are you interested in simply trying to say things that you believe score points in an online debate, or do you have anything substantive to say?

LOLing once again (read: crying with frustration & anger) at those who insisted that the most “effective” way to oppose Trump is to continue working with Rs to “create space for Rs to oppose Trump nominees” bsky.app/profile/frit...

So much for all that time Dems spent “creat[ing] space for Rs to oppose Trump nominees,” only to find out (repeatedly) that Rs are NOT going to oppose Trump’s nominees. I mean, who could’ve possibly seen that coming? bsky.app/profile/frit...

I think your hunch is right. But I suspect you think that is a legitimate criticism against her, whereas I believe that is a legitimate criticism against establishment Dems.

…agree or disagree that she is more effective at messaging & rallying the base than any other current congressional Dem?

1) sure, here’s some of them: HR 4620; HR 6419; HR 7393; HR 8476; HR 7422 2) during her tenure she has sponsored 52 bills and has co-sponsored 1,268 bills 3) most bills don’t get out of committee, so it’s dumb to judge a Congress rep’s qualifications based on this; either u don’t know that,…

Speaking of, remember when the Dem establishment chose @connolly.house.gov for ranking member of House Oversight Committee instead of @aoc.bsky.social? Anyone seen Mr. Connolly? I’d have thought the ranking Dem on Oversight would be leading the charge for the resistance. Instead, he has disappeared.

That’s b/c Rs push a uniform & unwavering message on border crossings & Dems cede not only the messaging on that issue but also cave substantively, moving the Overton window further & further right, signaling to media that Rs’ messaging is meritorious & worth covering.

What exactly have you done, given all the resources & tools available to you & your office, to force the media to focus on the damaging actions?

Yes, it’s a violation of their rights under domestic & Int’l law. But effective messaging is needed. Concise, catchy, not bogged down with nuance.
