It’s like that parable about two runners who have the exact same time on the 40-yd dash, except one has perfect form & the other has terrible form. You’re supposed to pick the one w/bad form, bc they can be even faster. Dems always pick the other one bc it’s seemingly safer.

There are people with far less privilege and power than Sen Murkowski who have stood up to Trump. If any lawmaker is too afraid to use their voice, they should step aside and give their seat to someone who isn’t.
