YouTube deleted my video about Jesus and Luigi Mangione and suspended monetization on my entire channel, simply because in the video I pointed out that the words "manger" and "Mangione" are cognate and that perhaps history is trying to teach us a lesson about eating the rich.

Namor doesn't get enough credit for being a hater with taste.

Do not forget the dead who have left us alive.

I genuinely remember growing up thinking that we would travel to Mars soon, and that space exploration and some sense of global unity would be realities. I never in my darkest dreams believed we'd be living in the dystopian hellscape we now live in.

Rex has once again decided that I am to pay attention to him, not read.

Recording myself reading poetry from the Hávamál in Old Norse as Count Orlok. Oh yeah.

After a cold walk this loyal boy was waiting at my window.

My fluffy reading partner.

My model man.

The moon haunts you.

I figured that because it's Nosferatu season I would start reading #DRCL midnight children. It's a manga based on Bram Stoker's Dracula, and the art is incredible.

Can you feel life moving through your mind?

How was your 2024? Did it go the way you wanted it to go?

Just got this book in. Oh yeah.

I wish as many people on social media talked about the Lord of the Rings in book form as they do the movies. The movies were beautiful and the casting was incredible, but nothing compares to the depth and magic of the books. If you love The Lord of the Rings in written form, I want to hear about it.

Had a great Christmas with family. Hope your holidays have been special.

Cats and books. My life.

At times in my dreams I find myself walking the same stores I walked as a child. Every step, every display, is the same as it once was.

Do you like your suitcase?

Rocket is not making it easy to read this new book I got on Egyptian papyri.

Many of our leaders say we need Jesus, but real ones know we need Sobek.

Going to pick up some blackberry tart at the Prancing Pony in Bree, y'all need anything?

First time that I've ever been told I sound like a Balrog when reciting Old Norse, I must admit.

Will there ever be peace between dragons and humans?

Is the world, as they say, a vampire?

Late night reading with my cat Rex.

They say that men no longer read, especially fiction. How true is this among people you know?

Going to the Louisiana Renaissance Festival tomorrow.

For a brief moment we were all holding space for not knowing what holding space means.

Breaking news: Donald Trump appoints Hades, lord of the underworld, Secretary of Health and Human Services. "He's a great guy," Trump said, "the Hospitable One, they used to call him, did you hear this, because he took care of so many people that died. He's gonna make healthcare great again."

My Roman Empire is Hecate and everything to do with her, including the Chaldean Oracles.

Yes, I do record ancient and medieval texts sometimes and make daily videos about the pronunciation of dead languages and things like that, but I spend most of my time taking pictures of my cats.
