Aldrig i livet! Jag har åsikter om föräldrar som lägger ut sina barn på Tiktok och Insta för att de är "så gulliga"...

Haven't the generals and every single soldier sworn to uphold the constitution? Nuremberg taught us that 'just following orders' doesn't work as an excuse. You are not bound by unlawful orders so why are all active service officers quiet?

I'm a proud member of the 'intolerant left'. I don't tolerate stupid people or stupid logic which both seems very common on the 'tolerant' right.

I really don't understand how that many people can be that willing to commit atrocities. Nuremburg told us that "just following orders" isn't a valid excuse. Obviously there are a lot of Americans who are happy to step on others, literally and figuratively, but THAT many?

What about golf? Unless you're a pro it's still a hobby, right?

So...unlike Jan 6th when it apparently didn't look bad enough to bring in the National Guard? The fact that nobody's stopped him yet...

So the 'land of the free' isn't any longer. Your 1st amendment rights are curtailed; no more 'Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free'.
Watching the US tear itself down from abroad is watching democracy die on prime time TV. It's so sad!

In the current US regime performance is everything. Action is dangerous as you may do something wrong

It's ont thing to be ignorant. It's a wholly different thing to regel in it, to be proud of it. US is in so much trouble it is not even laughable any longer. It's sad to watch a granted fall.

Why is it unbelievable? America is now a white nationalist dictatorship, Nazi Germany 2.0. This is exactly what 75 million people voted for.

It's the same short-term dividend thinking politically as it is in pure capitalist business - they don't care about long-term consequences as long as short-term profits are high. For politicians, ideology is dead, re-election is all that matters. But reelection is also where you can hurt them.

Honestly, I'm not sure one generation will be enough. The US has proven that no agreements stand when leadership changes. Trust is very hard to rebuild. We WANT to trust you but we don't dare any longer. Trump and his ilk is ruining more than your reputation.

Concerns? That's weak!
And Trump being disappointed in a $400 million gift? Only he would have the gall to act like that. Why doesn't anybody shut him the hell up? Does he have NO inhibitions about anything?

The "land of the free" suddenly isn't that free any longer...and so many people let it pass!

A golden child who never was told no? Yes, I can easily believe that.
comment in response to

If your child is disinterested in that you've failed teaching them empathy and that says more about you as a parent and person than any political party.
comment in response to
post
As a parent I believe my views and ethics and morals and whatnot are - and should be - more important to my children than a politician who often promises anything just to get elected. If my child turned out to be racists I'd take it as a personal failure of child rearing.

I'm not very good at international politics but even if the US and Russia agree EU can still keep Russia at arm's length, right? EU has to agree to the terms as well?

No. You can't go back from this, only rebuild and start over from zero

I thought the US constitution guaranteed religious freedom?
Why isn't anybody stopping him? He continuously breaks your constitutional laws, uses it as toilet paper, and nobody can stop him. This is absolutely crazy!

I think it's time to rewrite your national anthem. You are no longer "The land of the free" or "The home of the brave." A very large portion of your populations are cowards, afraid of a demented 78-year old. And freedom is just a word for the US these days when anyone can be sent to slave camps

Doesn't pharmaceuticals require quite a bit of R&D? Which he's slashed...and you need to understand the illness you are trying to cure, research which is also slashed. US, you are in worse trouble than media tells you.

Unfortunately, with the current admin nobody is surprised. We'd be more surprised if the US got involved. Unless Myanmar has some valuable resources, of course.

MAGAts will believe every word they are told. Most of them seem to be too ignorant to think for themselves. Maybe that's a requirement to become a republican, these days? An inability to think for yourself and aptitude for doing as you're told?
