A boyfriend did this to me when I was curling my eyelashes. I flinched, as did my hand and all my lashes were on the curler, not my eyelid. Still freaks me out thinking about it. Utter, utter, bastard.

I grew up in Runcorn, and the fact I missed a Pasadena’s themed cloud formation bothers me more than it should. What else have I not been privy to? A pile of rocks shaped like the London Boys? A Mr Whippy that looked a bit like Charles and Eddie? Not fair.
