Working on a booklet that recaps everything ours learn about creative writing - will share when done! We take a super granular approach to writing and teach grammar very explicitly - this recaps those things! Having a lovely time with my silly fonts🥰

Planning plotting and scheming 🙋🏼‍♀️

All my KS5 Language resources in one place if it’s helpful! I don’t teach Child Language and never have, but I have taught every other part of the AQA course so if I can help with bits do let me know!🥰 drive.google.com/drive/folder...

Going full English Teacher this evening watching Romeo and Juliet with live music in the most beautiful setting 🥹

All grade boundaries are now live! #alevels2024 #ALevelResults #ALevelResultsDay docs.google.com/document/d/1...

So happy with my English Language A-Level results - 100% A*-C, 100% on or above target, +0.32 value added 🥹🥹 so much hard work involved 😍

As always with results days, I slept for about 2 hours in total 🙄 Good luck to everyone who gets KS5 results today ✨

All of my Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 resources in one big folder just in time for the switch over to #EduSky - still haven’t sorted Key Stage 5 but will do very soon 🥰 any new schemes I make before September will be shared separately! drive.google.com/drive/folder...

A collection of my blogs this year: A question of tone and not techniques - Why I think we need to put a greater emphasis on tone rather than techniques learningfrommymistakesenglish.blogspot.com/2024/01/a-qu...

Enjoying the slow trickle of people making their way onto here - feel like I’m collecting the Team English version of pokémon cards

I’d love to start a proper edu-blog but I just can’t get past the idea that nothing I have to say is new, original or worth reading - everything I’ve ever done I feel like I’ve got from somebody else! How do you move past this feeling 🤷🏻‍♀️

Calling #TeamEnglish 👇

one of my favourite features on here already is that you can make your feed “only posts” which only shows you posts made by accounts you follow and hides replies or anything from people you don’t follow - perfect for people like me who don’t love the noise and just want to read the good stuff 💁🏻‍♀️

@brumrosie.bsky.social yesss good to see your lovely face over here 😍

One thing I noticed about the decline of Edutwitter was a decrease in the sharing of actual resources and classroom ideas and an increase in general opinion sharing (which is fine but maybe less immediately and functionally useful) - I’d love to see a return to sharing useable things post-Xodous 😍

Trying anything to say goodbye to the hellscape of Twitter but don’t know where I’d be without the Edutwitter community 🥺 so say hello if you’re from Twitter and we’ll try and rebuild our community over here 🤷🏻‍♀️
