The British monarchy's history of cosying up to fascists is no secret. But that aside, in what world wouldn't monarchy choose the side of reaction (although the British royals undoubtedly find Trump and his ilk unbearably vulgar and stupid)? Vive la république! And better yet, Vive la Commune!
