I believe that writing for yourself and being good enough at it will become a competitive advantage. I wrote about why I think this:👇

I love working from cafes as well, but I do need to be in the mood. Sometimes it is actually worse for focus for me. What about you?

I understand this perfectly. Having your own space outside of home can do wonders for productivity.

Nice, looking forward to it!

Might be a bit longer, but I’d be interested in a deep dive into whether putting effort into X is still worth it as a small account 🤔

I love this, let’s go! I’d be interested in social media marketing tips for 2025, Yt shorts is perfect for this.

Now I'm back, without the goal of posting daily. 👋

4. Most importantly: it is OK to take a break from social media, even if my goal is to grow my account. Same as with a lot of things in life, balance is important to refresh, stay motivated, and potentially avoid burnout.

3. If you're serious about growth on a social media platform, it is useful to be up-to-date with the algorithm, as this can make or break your progress. For me, this only caused stress: at the end of the day, my goal is not to please an algorithm, but to build a network of likeminded folks.

2. If the goal is posting every day, having scheduled posts is a game changer if the goal is to post helpful content every day. But writing 7 days worth of posts was quite time-consuming for me.

1. Nobody cares about your posting streak but you, and it's easy to burn out. It is difficult to write a meaningful post every day, and posting just to maintain your streak is counterproductive, as it can result in low-quality content.

I have the exact same experience, although my follower count is much lower - 1.3k here vs 900 on X.

+1 to both, and additionally: if you feel that you're a bit demotivated, I think a bit about my big picture goals. Helps me nearly every time.

I do monthly planning with larger goals, then every Monday a brief weekly planning about what should I focus on during the week. Nothing too fancy.

I really like Twitter’s approach (without the algo): same functionality, but for a group of people exclusively.

Why not write one? 🤔

Nice! What are the differences between your product and BlueskyMeter?

Me too, hoping that the API will remain free.
