and that decline in tolerance comes on the neighbor-to-neighbor level.
You are sick and need a meal train.
You got laid off and need to help pay a utility bill.
Nonprofits will never fill that gap on an important, spiritual level. The relationships aren't set up that way.

when I thank God for something it's usually when I am rightly humbled and that I actually heard it/felt it instead of weaponizing it.
when I thank God it's for getting more time with the people I love.
when I thank God it's for breath or when something didn't turn out how I wanted it to.

So true. Was at a series of trainings and it felt like some folks were treating it like instagram---making irrelevant comments for the sake of a gotcha moment. The facilitators handled it well and kept it moving on sharing real, practical strategy/actions not the abstraction of virtue signaling.

I really wanted to! But where I was looking was wild compared to what it cost for renaissance. She’s worth it! But I have some big adulting expenses 😭
