I'm Blake Gendebien, the dairy farmer running to replace Elise Stefanik in #NY21 This election will be tough, but I'm ready to roll up my sleeves and get the job done. Will you? ✅Follow me ✅Share this post ✅Ask your friends to follow ✅Chip in if you can

Congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles!! Now do the right thing and protest a visit to the White House again!

With little significant resistance rising in Congress or within the Republican Party, President Trump’s opponents are turning to the judicial branch. More than 40 lawsuits filed in recent days seek to push back against his executive actions.

With the Eagles obliterating the Chiefs, now is a good time to remind everyone that the last time the Eagles won the Super Bowl they refused to go to the White House because of Donald.

New York Democrats in the state legislature are expected to approve a bill on Monday that would delay until November the special election to fill Elise Stefanik’s House seat — a move that would deny House Republicans a crucial vote in the closely divided chamber.

One of many reasons I am with the Birds tonight 😉

I don't always agree with President Biden, but I always respected him. The same cannot be said for Trump, who is a threat to democracy and never should be in this position to be POTUS for a 2nd time. This is a sad day for this country. The next 4 years will be hell. But this is what people wanted.

Ever since the election, it's been amazing to watch the sharp contrast that @mcuban.bsky.social and Kevin O'Leary have had in their media approach. Watching #SharkTank seems tougher now with Kevin O'Leary so boldly accepting Trump's rhetoric and Mark denouncing it (as he should).

Former President Jimmy Carter, who died on Dec. 29 at age 100, was transported to the U.S. Capitol, where he will lie in state for a day and a half in the Rotunda. After a formal state funeral on Thursday, he will be buried in his hometown, Plains, Georgia, beside his wife, Rosalynn. nyti.ms/3BXiU6O

My message to Zuck

January 6th, usually a mundane day in politics to certify the results of the presidential election that no one even pays attention to. Except 4 years ago, when Donald Trump incited an insurrection because he lost. Today, just 1 election later, he’s certified as president again. Oh how we’ve fallen.

This headline is about the judge upholding Trump’s felony conviction. But if this headline doesn’t show where we are as a country right now…allowing a convicted felon to reach the presidency (again). I have such little hope for the future.

This is probably the first time in a while I actually dreaded the start of a new year. Even more so than 2017, since at least back then there was plausible deniability that Trump would be out of office in 4 years and democracy would continue to prevail. I already feared of what’s to come in 20 days.

Happy new year, everyone. And buckle up for what’s ahead.

Time zones are fascinating. Australia is already in 2025, Europe is still 2024, and the USA is currently in 1939.

Jimmy Carter was a great man. A man that will probably be remembered for what he did outside of the presidency more than being president. We need more people like him as leaders in this country now more than ever, but they seem to be dwindling in numbers. RIP President Carter. You’ll be missed.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Happy for Rachel to win. Happy for Sue to get 3rd for doing absolutely nothing and brought along to the end. Rachel had a great resume. It should not be a man vs women thing, but it always seems to be every #Survivor finale.

BREAKING: Joe Biden announces that he will commute the sentences of 1,500 non-violent offenders in the biggest single-day act of clemency ever. He will also pardon 39 other non-violent offenders including a nurse who helps with natural disaster responses. Like and share to thank Biden!

Outfielder Tyler O'Neill and the Baltimore Orioles are in agreement on a three-year, $49.5 million contract that includes an opt-out after the first season, a source tells ESPN. O'Neill, 29, hit 31 home runs with Boston in 2024. Deal is pending physical. On the news: @JonHeyman.

Can @cnn.com just…shut up for a few minutes? Here is this huge cultural significance with a massively historic building rising from the ashes in Paris, and all they can talk about is Trump. Nonstop for hours now. #NotreDame

This is your daily reminder that this really did happen.

Rampell: If you voted for Trump because you thought he was going to bring down the cost of housing, a lot of our lumber, cement, and other materials comes from Canada, which means that construction costs are going to go up

Biden: Serving as President of the United States has been the honor of my life. Though our time in office is coming to an end, our cause endures.

There IS a left-wing agenda, and it’s to prioritize compassion over greed. Kindness isn't a limited resource.

Let’s band together for books, shall we?

Let’s be honest. This was never a serious AG pick. We will have 4 years of people that are unqualified to lead the positions Trump fills. Gaetz probably thought he could bury the report since he resigned from congress. Small glimmers of hope for justice to prevail. www.nytimes.com/live/2024/11...
