Castle Grief also put up a b&w version his itch. Worth checking out as well. castlegrief.itch.io/outdoor-surv...

That double-jump is cursed! Also, playing Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts at the 240x160 GBA resolution is borderline masochistic. 😅 I'll have to check out the Genesis version; never played it back in the day. Shinobi III was my action platformer of choice on that system. Joe Musashi rules!!

I gave it an earnest attempt after you talked about it on b2c. I have to turn in my laminated god gamer card to the proper authorities because I gave up after a few days.

Did you ever finish Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts?

I'm not caught up, but I've read most of what's out. It's good!

It's a thing in the UK as well! There's a popular UK SF&F one called The Broken Binding. thebrokenbindingsub.com

I see the subscription as the discount code + alt cover books whenever a new book is published. That last part is tripping up some reviewers. They see it as a book-a-month club when it's more like a patreon for funding book production. The disconnect is the subscription =/= a book each month.

The two wolves inside every person. Neat!

I love the '97 anime, but I wouldn't recommend it as the first way to experience the story. I think it cuts out too many important parts of the story.

It can be extremely emotionally draining at times. It's well worth it though. It's one of the all-time great fantasy stories.

I'll skip to the part where I make a gif using 21st century kino cinema to express my feelings on the matter.

My honest reaction whenever I hear "Post-OSR" (Let's see if the gif works this time)

That's Joseph "Ripped" Lewis. That's quality.

The culture of mean comments isn't great, but I don't think itch is that much better. Itch also has the weird "if you don't give it 5 stars don't bother rating it" thing which is pretty odious.

Two questions, cause I'm a lil stinker. How many levels is the dungeon and what character levels is the module written for?

Nah, imperial makes things easier for the most important audience.

It was Nale, not Elan. A classic.
